Major Projects
  • Mighty River Power's resource consent applications for the Southdown Power Station and the Marsden Power Station re-powering
  • Securing a designation to authorise NGC's Rotowaro to East Tamaki gas pipeline.
Dispute Resolution
  • Regularly appearing before Councils, the Environment Court, the District Court and the High Court in relation to resource consent applications, designations, Plan provisions, prosecutions and judicial review proceedings
  • Representing clients in negotiations and mediations.
Plan Provisions
  • Representing the Auckland Regional Council in contentious litigation to devise District Plan provisions for land within the Metropolitan Urban limits behind Long Bay Regional Park
  • Advising Fish & Game about financial contributions for the diversion of water by drainage schemes
Policy Work
  • Advising Mighty River Power about legislation for the allocation of scarce resources
  • Preparing a submission on the Waitaki Bill for the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development
